Literati ereader

When it comes to ereaders, the major players are (as you probably know) the Kindle, the Kobo, the Nook and so on. However, there are all alternatives to these, such as the literati ereader. Why might you consider one of these as opposed to, say, the Kindle? Well, the main reason is price. You can get a literati ereader at a cheaper price than most Kindles sell for. This may be appealing to you if you're new to ereaders and don't want to splash out on something fancy before you've had a taste, as it were.

In addition to the price, another pleasing feature of the Literati ereader is the fact that it has a color screen. If you plan to use your ereader with your childen, then having a color screen is a real plus - kids respond extremely well to color. It makes childrens' books come to life. What's more, if you enjoy reading magazines, you'll have a much better time browsing through them in color than you would in black and white. Of course, you could always get a Kindle Fire or Nook color, but then we're back to price. For big savings, the Literati ereader is probably a good bet, as long as you're willing to put up with a few of the limitations (after all the Literati is a rather basic ereader without the bells and whistles that come with more advanced devices).
